Cycling doesn’t have to be a solo adventure. At the Wagner Subaru Outdoor Experience we have cycling activities that encourage the whole family to get involved.
- Demo road, hybrid and tandem bikes at Batch Bicycles Try Cycling.
Borrow a bike and take it for a quick spin on the Mad River Trail or Creekside Trail, part of the 340+ miles of the Nation’s Largest Paved Trail Network. Area supported by RiverScape Rentals.
- Balance Bikes
Balance bikes have no pedals and are the perfect bike for teaching your toddler to ride today! Once your child can walk and stay balanced, she can learn to find her balance point on a bicycle. Balance bikes are a revolutionary approach to teaching children ages 2 – 6 how to learn to ride a bike without training wheels. Area supported by Black Pug Bike Repair. - Try a bike on the Mad River Mountain Pumptrack, supported by Mike’s Bike Park
A pumptrack is a continuous circuit of rollers, berms and jumps. Pumptracks can be great fun for riders of all ability levels. Grab a bike and ride the flow of the Pumptrack. - Bike Gear
Try all styles of bikes while learning from leading bike manufacturers, retail shops, race promoters and advocacy organizations from all over the country in the Bike Village. - Valet Bike Parking sponsored by the Dayton Cycling Club
Ride to the event on the Mad River Bikeway and get primo parking in the middle of the festival! Register your bike at the Dayton Cycling Club booth located in the Bike Village and club members will watch your bike for free during festival hours.
After the event
The Miami Valley also boasts the Nation Largest Paved Trail Network with more than 330 miles of paved, multi-use bikeways. Our network of greenways can get you where you need to go for business and pleasure. This extensive trail system, new bike lanes downtown, the bike hub at RiverScape MetroPark and Dayton’s bronze award as a Bicycle Friendly Community are proof that the Dayton region is a destination for cycling enthusiasts.
