The region is rich in talented musicians and amazing outdoor recreation amenities! We have partnered with 91.3 WYSO Public Radio for the Miami Valley to bring some of the best musicians in our region to the Wagner Subaru Outdoor Experience Dayton.com Music Stage.
11 AM – Noon: Jonny Dread – solo acoustic
Jonny steps out from his reggae band for an uplifting solo, acoustic set.
12:15 – 1:30: A Girl Named Genny
Four-piece progressive string band formed by UD students, now based in Rochester, NY.
1:45 – 2:45: The Repeating Arms
A fast-driving string band with heavy use of vocal harmonies.
3:00 – 4:00: The New Old-Fashioned
A rock & roll, Americana band with big choral harmonies.
4:15 – 5:30: Micheal Fracasso
From Austin, TX, a master story-teller and singer/songwriter of the highest rank. Micheal brings his full band in all it’s folk-rock glory.
5:45 – 7:00: Manray
The vanguard of new Dayton rock & roll. This power-trio brings a big sound and tons of presence.
7:15 – 8:15: Shrug
Dayton Ohio’s preeminent purveyors of alternative rock & roll.
8:30 – 10:00: 500 Miles to Memphis
From Cincinnati, a cross between country and punk, and an electrifyingly good time.
11:00 – 12:00: Todd the Fox
Upbeat, highly-energetic folk music with a dash of burlesque.
12:15 – 1:15: Pullouts
Piano-based rock & roll & groove with a particular flare for melody.
1:30 – 2:30: The Almighty Get Down
All-original 7-piece funk, soul, R&B band from Cincinnati. The musical equivalent of hitting the ground running.
2:45 – 4:00: Angela Perley & the Howlin’ Moons
The perfect blend of rock & roll and dreamy psychedelia. With electric guitars and swooning vocals, this Columbus band give an excellent live show.
